Chicken Crescent Recipe

This will make 4 crescents which feeds 4 people with mouse appetites or like 2 full grown adults.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Chicken (1 big ole chicken titty but technically 2 cups of diced chicken)
  • Butter (2 Tablespoons)
  • Cream Cheese (3 Tablespoons but let’s be real I use closer to 5 because fuck my arteries)
  • 1 Roll of (pillsbury, if you’re bougie) crescents
  • White onion (1/3 of a cup, diced)

If you’re feelin’ extra

  • Bread crumbs (I like to use the Italian style Panko crumbs)
  • 2 more Tablespoons of butter (melted)
  • Garlic salt

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat your oven to 350
  • Boil your chicken titty, if it is hella thick then I recommend halving it so that it will boil faster.  This only takes a couple minutes, just boil that bish until you wont get a disease from eating it (but like realistically after you boil it you’re going to cook it more so like just make sure it’s not squawking as you dice it)
  • While your chicken is boiling, dice your onion
  • Mix the onion with your butter (the non melted butter) and cream cheese
  • Dice your boiled chicken & mix that in too
  • Put a baking sheet out, put some aluminum foil on it, spray it lightly with cooking spray
  • Lay out your (4) crescents.  They’re all connected when you open the roll, keep two of the tiny triangle crescent bois connected so they lay out in a square, see pic above for reference
  • Fill the crescents with the innards-Pull up the corners that are diagonal from each other and pinch them closed, do the same for the other two corners
  • Brush the melted butter over top of the closed crescents
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and garlic salt
  • Bake for 25 minutes but usually I will put them in for 18 and check them, basically just take them out when they are starting to turn golden brown
  • Serve it to your hinge date who will inevitably ghost you and get back with his ex even though your cooking, and probably sex game, is infinitely better

I like to serve these with green beans almondine and a colorful pasta dish (like campanelle pasta with sundried tomatoes, scallions and fresh moz pearls)
