One of my biggest splurges every year is a new pair of designer sunglasses. Don’t get me wrong, I probably have 80 pairs of $15 TJ Maxx impulse buys but there is a big difference in quality when it comes to actually spending a decent amount of money on a nice pair of sunglasses.
My go-to sunglass shopping habit is a lengthy try-on session at Sunglass Hut and then snapping a pic of the styles I like and finding them online at a cheaper price. With that being said, Sunglass Hut now offers Afterpay. Afterpay is a payment option that allows you to split purchase payments in to 4s, making it easier to justify spending more, at least for me.
Here are this seasons sunglass obsessions…
Cat Eye
VERSACE// This is the pair I currently own. They’re delicate, classy and timeless. My boyfriend purchased them for me at Sunglass Hut before a vacation but they can be found for under $200 online (don’t tell him that, please!).
BURBERRY// I LOVE this pair, it was my top pick until I fell in love with the Versace’s. The cat eye is gentle, the frames are simple and for someone with a small face they are not at all gaudy and overwhelming.
GUCCI// These are definitely more dramatic but go big or go home, right? And I mean, Gucci, come ON!
“Butterfly”
GUCCI// I also love these big, square glasses. Incredibly dramatic and 100% a statement piece. The detailing on the side EVERYTHING.
Geometric
PRADA// Another dramatic, statement look. These are so unique but I adore them AND if you buy them from Sunglass Hut you can get your monogram engraved because EXTRA IS FUN.
Summertime Classic
RAYBAN// Of course I couldn’t NOT include a classic pair of aviators. For this summer I am going with the all black frames and lenses look.
