Do I Recommend Zaful Swimwear?: YAAASS!

I fully recommend these bathing suits for the main reason that their pros outweigh their cons, in my opinion.

PROS:

  • So incredibly cheap, cheap to the point you can buy FOUR bikinis for the price of ONE Victoria’s Secret bikini. That, in itself, is a huge selling point for me.
  • You know what you’re getting.  You just bought a $12 swimsuit…if you understand that and don’t plan to swim across the English channel or surf in the East Coast Surfing Championships then you’re probably going to be happy with the quality of the bikini that you receive.
  • If you plan on laying in the sun and maybe the occasional dip in the water then the quality/price combination is very fair.
  • There are ENDLESS options.  So many cute/trendy/unique options.  Different coverage and push up levels, combined with different cut, styles, textures, patterns and colors LITERALLY give you hundreds of different suites to choose from.
  • Sizing…I had no issues with sizing my bikinis. I got smalls all around and they fit without issue.  However, many people I spoke to said that they had sizing issues but if you read the reviews you will be fine.  The reviews will tell you if that particular suit runs big or small and remember, it’s $12…

CONS:

  • Shipping took FOREVER.  I mean, not really, but if you’re an instant-gratification type of person then three weeks is a long time to wait for a bikini (or 5).
  • Because of that aspect it would make returning a suit pretty frustrating but that’s where the price comes in to play, if you are willing to risk $12 or have the patience to return the suit and wait for a new one then you won’t be phased by the shipping.
  • Quality…as I said before, these aren’t high quality suits.  Mine will probably last a summer or two and if that’s what you expect and they last longer then you can be pleasantly surprised but don’t order a $12 bikini and expect it to look/feel/last like it was handmade by Thierry Hermès.

My Bikinis:

I purchased the two bikinis pictured below from Zaful. I ordered them on January 22nd. The order did not ship until January 26th. The order arrived on February 4th.

The red, faux snakeskin bikini was $12.99, the emerald green, high-leg bikini was $13.49. In total my order with taxes and shipping cost $27.95

    1. You can’t order the sets in mixed sizes but they do have sets you can “mix and match,” i.e. ordering the top separately from the bottom, allowing you to mix sizes. I don’t think every suit is available that way, though, I could be mistaken.
